Silla Ferradini was born in Milan, where he is currently living and working. He began his artistic activity very early in his youth, devoting himself to sculpture as a professional since 1966. He has authored numerous one-man and group exhibitions both in Italy and abroad, as well as numerous stage-designing for theatrical works and movies. He has won two national competitions for public works.

1969
Group exhibition of painting, sculpture and poetry, presented by Fernanda Pivano at the Art Club "Si o Si", Milan. Also taking part: Giò Tavaglione, Giorgio Benedettini (painters), Pino Franzosi, Luigi Ferradini (writers), Tito Livio and Salvatore Passerella (poets).

1971
The execution of a series of works in iron. The subject "of crucifixion of Man".

1973
One-man show at the "Associazione Solferino", Milan.
Group exhibition at the "Galleria Treves", Milan. Also taking part: Duncan, Brindisi, Crippa, Cazzamali, Frassati, Migneco, De Cet, Dova, Kodra, Monti, Gorbatowski.
International competition "Accademia Modigliani", Milan: First Prize for the work in iron "The Cathedral".
He collaborated with the stage designing for a theatrical work "Zumbi (ballad of life and death of the folks of Palmares)" by Augusto Boal, directed by Gabriele Salvatores of the "Piccolo Teatro di Milano".
A series of studies on the form and colors of the rock and stone of Dalmatia.

1974
Group exhibition together with Franco Zoppi (painter) at the Gallery "La Proiezione", Verona.
He presented his steel panels on this occasion. One-man show at the Gallery "Studio Zero", Milan.
Group exhibition at the Museum of Science and Technology of Milan. Invited by "The people's Artistic and Cultural Manifestation Centre", Milan.

He collaborated with the scenic design for Vincenzo Rigo's movie "Gli assassini sono nostri ospiti" (Murderers are our guest).
"The Cycle and Motorcycle International Show" at the Milan Trade Centre. His large iron sculpture "Easy Rider Generation" was on show.
One-man show at the Gallery "La Proiezione", Verona. He presented his marble sculpture on this occasion.
One-man show at the cultural club "Il Salice", Milan.
Grand Prix Special at the "Salon International de l'Art Libre", Palais des Beaux Arts, Paris.

1976
One-man show at the Gallery "L'Approdo", Iseo.
Group exhibition together with Brunetti (sculptor) at the "Biblioteca Comunale Guastalla", Milan.

"The Biennial of Sculpture, Painting and Graphics" at the "Associazione Culturale Manzoni Art Centre", Milan. He won the first prize for sculpture.
One-man show at the "Milanese Philological Club", Milan. One-man show at the Gallery "La Minerva", Assisi.
Group exhibition together with Rumor, Somalvico, Bo at the "Collettiva d'Arte Contemporanea", Maccagno.

1982
One-man show at the Gallery "Il Mercante", Milan. He presented "I 15 Personaggi della Leggenda del Pianeta Son". (The 15 characters of the Legend of the planet Son).

Group exhibition with Franco Aramu (painter) at the Gallery "Studio Urso", Milan.

One-man show at the Gallery "La Bottega dell'Incontro", Milan.
Group exhibition of painting and sculpture at the Gallery "Ripa 15", Milan.

Participation at the "III Biennale dell'Arte di Cagliari", Sponsored and presented in the catalogue by Raffalele De Grada.

Group exhibition at the "Museo di Milano", in S. Andrea Street. "30 Years of Brera", with the painters and sculptors who made Brera History from the Fifties to the Seventies, organized by the art dealer and collector Orio di Brera. Presentation in the catalogue by Roberto Sanesi, Raffaele De Grada, Vittoria Palazzo and Roggero Orlando.

1988
Prize-winning competition for the execution of a large fountain in Piazza Italia (the main square) of the town of Cinisello Balsamo near Milan. He won the First Prize.
An encounter with the city at the Crepaldi Auto Show Room. The subject: "Art and Technology". A presentation of Silla Ferradini's sculpture and Ferrari cars.
